Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This contract position offers an opportunity to provide maternity leave coverage for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in an elementary school setting within the Minneapolis area. Candidates will support students through virtual assignments aligned with specific caseloads across three locations, ensuring continuity of speech therapy services during staff absences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language pathology services to elementary school students according to caseload needs.
- Deliver virtual therapy sessions as required for designated timeframes.
- Collaborate with educational staff to support individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state regulations.
- Adhere to Minnesotas 1.0 work hour limitations for clinicians delivering virtual services.
Qualifications:
- Current Speech-Language Pathology Certification of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC).
- Valid Tier 3 or 4 Minnesota Education Certificate.
- Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school-based setting preferred.
- Ability to work virtually and manage multiple caseloads if applicable.
- Licensed to practice in Minnesota and familiar with state regulations governing school-based speech services.
Assignment Details:
- Location: Elementary schools in Anoka, Minnesota (virtual assignments for specified schools in Brooklyn Center, Champlin Park, and Blaine).
- Contract Duration: December through March/April, depending on specific caseload requirements.
- Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- Caseload coverage percentages vary per assignment (.2 to .4 virtual caseload).
